Frustrated

It's been a long, but productive weekend.  In about 4 more days, I may get my period... or not.  I have a feeling I'm not pregnant.  I felt a couple small cramps.   I guess we will find out in a week or two.  It is only our first month trying, so I shouldn't be too disappointed if I am not pregnant.  Still, I can't help but feel impatient because of my age.

A baby shower, and a funeral.

Today was a bittersweet day.  I was invited to a baby shower, and my husband went to a funeral.  Aaron's friend's dad died.  He had been sick for awhile.  My husband's parent's dog died today, too.  He also had been sick for awhile :(

And unfortunately, I couldn't go to the baby shower today.  I am still fighting a bad cold that just won't go away.  So I dropped off the gift I bought, and I received a baby shower favor.  A cute little rubber ducky, and some peach scented hand soap and lotion.  So sweet :)

The world keeps turning.  Life is created, and then fades away, and the world keeps turning.  We're all just here for the ride... and I will continue holding tightly to God's hand.  No matter what.

Aaron asked me last night to post some more on my blog.  I told him that he can post on this blog, too.  I mean, it's just as much his blog as it is mine.  It takes two to make a baby :)
